I say mostly because she can't find a comfortable position to sleep and she needs special care and feeding right about now. We've seen a few ultrasounds and 4D doppler scans of the baby and, if you haven't seen what technology can do these days in regards to pregancy, you're really missing out. Mrs. X23 has been to the doctor and the blood tests have come back positive.
An interesting note...Before we were married a little over two years ago, I told Mrs. X23 that we would wait two years t begin a family. I predicted that we would conceive our first child on our second anniversary. Funny thing is that we are certain that the child was conceived on our anniversary.

Not trusting the three positive tests we had on Sunday and Monday (the little pink line just wasn't conslusive enough...three times), Mrs. X23 used the more expensive brand that has an LCD readout with the word "pregnant" if she's pregnant. It said "Pregnant." We're pretty confident now. Actually, more than online. It would seem our recent efforts have had positive results.
As of today, Mrs. X23 is carrying BabyX23!
According to the online calculators, the baby is expected on July 14th, 2005.

Sadly, hopes have been dashed for this conception window. Due to certain constraints, we have decided to next attempt to bring BabyX23 into the world in March. We have that one month window and then we try again next fall as long as it takes to get us a baby. The wife thinks her period might have started. It could also be spotting. The books and websites all seem to agree that a little bleeding might occur even with a pregnancy, so we're not out of the game yet. We jumped the gun yesterday and had the wife take a test. But it was too early for these things to work so we're going to be patient and wait until either tomorrow or Saturday. Officially, on the 28 day calendar, tomorrow would be day 29 and the wife has yet to feel her monthly "twinge"...

It's been a long week, but we are now at those crucial days as promoted by all the literature and we are not giving up. We will make a baby yet.
